DIY Lip Plumper

Some detailed information on lip plumpers, how they work and how I make my own.

Recipe Notes:
Use the "trial and error" method when making your own lip plumper. No one brand of essential oil is the same as another - Some sting a lot, others hardly at all.

Likewise, every individual is different. Always be aware of your own sensitivity level and if you are new to topical lip-plumping products, test a small area before applying it all over your lips.

I just tried it by just mixing Orange+Clove oil to petroleum jelly :) really works too! But it's like them Instant Wrinkle fillers that only last a few hours,

@tomcoward16 yea these are the types of products you need to keep re-applying to get the effect to stay. wanna go get collagen with me? lol! i want to do it someday but i want to drag someone with me! haha!

Awesome! Where would you say is the best place to get the oil? I know in the video you said high end grocery stores...but I live in south Florida and we don't have high end grocery stores! Lol :)

@RocksinLOVe I'm not sure... I don't live in South Florida so I don't know what's around there. Any supliment/vitamin/heath store might carry stuff like that.

@RocksinLOVe nope not if you stir it up and mix it well. some pieces MIGHT but only if it's a frosty or glittery color.

I'm gonna do it your way now! My attempts with ginger essential oil were not impressive. Fresh ginger really stings and plumps, but the essential oil had almost no effect. Googling a bit revealed that the stinging component of fresh ginger (gingerol) goes away if there's heat in the distillation process.
