(read below comment) Quite frankly There is no artistic comparison between the two, You may like Tokio hotel better, But strapping young lad is the better band hands down, Not because of how many people like them, But because of how they have pushed boundaries and redefined and reinvigorated the genre of music they play. All tokio hotel has done is put out the same vanilla flavor of music you can get from numerous other bands, under a diffrent name with a diffrent pretty boy singer.

Devin townsend has been in the music business since 1993. and has produced 16 albums.none of which were retreads of his previous material. tokio hotel has been around since 2001 and has only had 6 albums. Three if you take out the ones which were simply live concert versions of their previous material. A band that squeezes cash out of its followers by re releasing the same music does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as devin townsend.
