@TheRealEzzy seperate it. instead of substituting a fraction, multiply the fractions by their LCD so that you have whole numbers before you substitute it for Y or X.

@jump12man 2/3 X 3 is the same as 2/3 X 3/1 which would be 6/3

6/3 = 2.

y = 1/4x - 3/8
