I can understand giving free healthcare to children to a certain limit, but not adults. Also I believe that the overall cost of healthcare services in this country needs to be drastically lowered. The costs for everything are way too much. Besides, people don't die from no health insurance, it's because they don't have enough money. So look at the reasons why they don't have enough money in the first place. A universal system will destroy this country monetarily.

It's so wierd it's like America is Schizophrenic- first we want universal Healthcare , then we trash it. I think what's really happening is the insurance companies own the Republican Party- They create the illusion that "people are going to lose so much" if this bill goes through. And we believe it. They make US fight for their corporate interests. Get corporate money out of Washington!!! Take back the government from lobbyists and you will see us start to rise again.
