He also said that it's rough for us fans because he knows how much we love and care for him. But the NHL is a business too. He just wanted to make sure he was choosing the right team that will pay him the best.

He's a penguin icon, first jagr now talbot. He scored our goals in the stanley cup final against the red wings. I will never forget that! Its just sad and hurting, why Philadelphia? Colarado or Boston wouldt matther..... this is just crap.

i will always be a maxime talbot fan. he said it himself he never dreamed of playing anywhere but the pens and i'm only 20 but im a season ticket holder and have grown up with this guy as my idol. ive never met another athlete that appreciates his fans and loves what he does as much as talbot. i hate the flyers...but i could never hate max, he did what he had to do when shero wouldn't resign him for anything but a disrespectful number. good luck max.

im a flyers fan but i know good players and hes one of them im happy hes a flyer i saw him at training camp and i met him hes adorable i got his autograph and picture n i asked him how it felt to be a flyer and he said its good n i asked him about marc andre n he said hes good also, like i said im a flyers fan n i shouldnt like him but i do like i said i know good players n i dont hate the pens or anyone on that team but boston on the other hand i HATE THEM LOL

@Flyers20Fan yep pretty much and our other guys arent good enough to get us anywhere like staal and tk and neal and them arent good enough to carry us and geno stepped up once i love him more than anything but seriosuly he stepped up big time once cant expect him to do it all the time

@dsulli8 for the penguins a lot rides on the health of crosby and malkin, crosbys concussion is extremely bad and who knows, he could be the next lindros and malkins stats hav been declining the last 2 years before he even got hurt in each season and who knows if his stays will stay stable

@dsulli8 yeah the flyers could be unbelievable in like 3 years if some of the players develop like they r expected to and if bryzgalov maintain his form for years, like giroux could very easily be a 90 point guy even this year, JVR could be one of the most dominant power forwards in the game, schenn is the #1 prospect in the world and is being compared to toews and ignla, and then voracek and simmonds r already solid players and either one could be real good and then 18 year old courturier...

@dsulli8 trust me it takes a true flyers fan to understand the moves, i am glad carters gone but richards i kind of still wish we kept but completely understand the move, both hav had their play decreased over the past 2 years and both hav had drinking problems, also carter has been awful in the playoffs and is overall a very 1 dimensional player and richards has been ridiculed all last year and the year before for his lack of leadership and hustle, now the core is giroux, JVR and schenn w/ bryz

@dsulli8 people keep underestimating the flyers this year, giroux was our best player last year and is only gonna get better, still got briere, JVR will prob hit 30 goals, hartnells a 25-25 guy, voracek just turned 22 but is already putting up 50 points, Jagr is expected to put up roughly 60-70 points if he stays healthy according to a study, and then our 3rd line is still real solid with the #1 prospect in the world schenn centering it and simmonds on a wing and then our D and goalie r good
