Hey yall about the whole news about a Jeep Wrangler recently beating the highest altitude record was incorrect. I am 100% certain that it was a Suzuki Samuri, not a jeep.
-
@seventhSabra It was a Suzuki Samuri on the climbing record btw I know that for a fact. Not a Jeep

@RidgeRunner88 sorry dude i have nothing against jeep but that highest altitude newest record was done with a Suzuki Samuri, idk where you are hearing jeep wrangler. They look similar, but I am 100% certain that it was a Suzuki Samuri.

@verasforzza Yeah I heard that the FA/18 was originally equipped with a solid axle but the engineers were so inspired by the Toyota FJ that they upgraded to IFS. Oh and stop claiming that you're educated. That ship has long since sailed...

@RidgeRunner88 The FJ (Land Cruisers) have been around since 1957 in America, and has existed in some form since 1941. They're the most traveled vehicles on earth and hold more world records & 'firsts' than all other 4x4 combined... that's a phenomenal track record, just saying.
This particular Land Cruiser has been around for a while too, Prado chassis. It's the same proven platform as the Tacoma (TLC with truck body). These things win Baja, and have driven to the North Pole, they're proven.
