Met him last week after the show and he is the nicest, most down to earth actor. Like ever. And he nailed his character. So hilarious.

@iaras09 A lot of the play is supposed to be funny. Mormons and non-Mormons all love the show. Perhaps that fact that you're only 13, shows that you don't actually understand it?

@iaras09 His character is gay. The song is about Elder McKinley forcibly suppressing his homosexuality, by "turning it off." Whether it's for fear of being judged, or fear of damnation. But, if someone is right for a role in a musical... why does it matter if they're gay? He's a white man, playing the part of a white man. You say Mormons don't judge, but you also said you don't think gay is "the way." What is "the way?" You can be offended all you want, you have no idea what "the way" is.
