No. The phone is slow with 0 applications showing in Task Manager. Terrible tutorial.

nice tutorial bro.. instead of going one by one you could go to menu, delete all tasks.. helps a bunch and if not.. go to the XDA Site and download the LeoCpuSpeed :D helps and makes the HD2 run smooth.. :D

@Jpcrunkkk I think you should get a lower memory chip. Your memory chip must be too much for the phone to process. I know this because the samsung galaxy runs slow on a 16/32gb memory chip and most of the other smart phones are like this.

i used to work as a pda and android support for tmobile.. .. and this is the worst phone i know... .. it does have bunches of issues..

I have the same problems.. ITS ANNOYING!!!! specially when I receive a message it slows down to a crawl. it freezes for like 30seconds everytime I receive a message

@brodieanthony Go to settings>about phone>Android version. I am still running Android and have upgraded to 2.33 (Gingerbread). Check out XDA developers they have a lot of good ROMS
