This is my home made fogponics-Areoponics system in a test run with a normal house plant and some seeds. In the 5 gallon bucket "my resivor" there is a bubble stone and two 22mm ultrasonic foggers that make the fog, which then get's blown into the two 8" pvc pipes "my root chamber" by a 4" fan that is mounted on top of the resivor. I have since revised the system to a 12 gallon resivor with three 22mm foggers and two 18 gallon root chambers.

  • Nice setup! Are those corn plants? Their roots look really nice. I can say that your plants are greatly benefiting from the fogponic setup. What type of lights are you using?

  • @hydroplanting The seeds are just some lima beans and a house plant I bought at wal-mart. I use a 400 watt MH and HPS.

  • Great idea! Why don't you have the air stones in your res under the plants roots? The fog is sending plent of ox out. But love the idea!

  • Great system.how did you make fogger floats.

  • That's a really good system. Total fog rather than the nutrient tank in the same container. Kind of defeats the purpose once the roots hit the nutrient in the bottom.

Have you thought about how the fog can be exchanged? My thought is what if say the nitrogen is used up. Could be wrong thinking on that point, but love your work. I've seen incredible results with fogponics. By far the best new system out there, but still need developing. Great work my man.

  • hi there,

What is the blue thing that you used to make the float for the fogger?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @zemopaulwin In this video there is 2 single disk, I now use 3-22mm single disk ultrasonic foggers.
