(Shot this in the courtyard of Brightleaf Square in beautiful downtown Durham; I work in this complex.) The big news is that since the last vlog is that I learned that the biopsy was negative -- no cancer1. Today I learned a few more details about my surgery and leave. I have to go for Pre-Op - blood work and EKC, EEG and on Nov. 18. I will learn any prep needed for surgery at that time.
My surgery will in the early AM on Monday, November 22
Other notes...
My H1C has to be less than 8.0
* Will be laproscopic surgery, rather than abdominal.
* Will stay overnight 1 night, discharged in early AM next dat.
* 3-4 weeks off work, barring complications (or need for abdominal incision).
* Cannot drive for 2 weeks, no heavy lifting for a couple of months.
Pam, best wishes! I recently had a hysterectomy and believe me, you are going to feel so much better after the fact and life will be wonderful. The "monster" fibroid (not counting all the others) for me was a whopping 10 pounds They drug you up pretty well so it doesn't hurt. And the recovery for me was almost painless compared to what life was like pre-surgery. The main thing is that in about 2-3 weeks, when you feel pretty good, you still need to take it easy.

@GodDiscussion Thanks! Well I don't know what the big one weighs, but it sure is pressing on other organs enough to be problematic. Would be nice to wake up 10 lbs lighter, lol. We'll see.
