At your age you should not be doing any hardcore workout regime. I recommend you that you stick to playing sports for now. Working out at such an early age CAN be detrimental to your growth.
I would not recomend this program to someone as young as you. My only suggestion is to get outside a bit, play some sports, eat less junk. This program is designed for people in decent shape looking to build serious muscle, drop more body fat, and get cut
I would wait a couple years just because you are only 13, and weightlifting at that age can be bad for your body because you're still growing. Fifteen would be my age recommendation for you. Other than that, it's an excellent program, and the 'rents have nothing to worry about.
P90X is not for people out of shape, its for people who DO work-out, but need an all-encompassing regime that incorporates the 'muscle-confusion' theory, in order to overcome the normal "brick walls" that most exercisers encounter. Muscle plateau, problem fat areas such as abs or thighs, or asymetric workouts (people who concentrate on single muscle groups instead of total body fitness), are common obstacles that P90X totally eliminates.
Hey, I'm thinking about doing P90X, I am 13, and, in pretty bad shape, would P90X, be ok for me to use, cuz my parents won't let me until I find out if its ok.
hey hows it going I am starting p90x this coming monday I am gonna do the lean program then after 90days go to the classic...(I am a little Fat).i was just wondering what kind of diet to follow i got the p90x off the inter net i have the fitness test, worksheets, and calender but no diet guide.....Im 15...any help?
