Fresh from their 2009 Spring Concert, here's the UNC Clef Hanger's cover of Maino's "All The Above" (feat. T-Pain , or is it Steve-Pain?), with soloists Ryan White and Steve McQuaid, and help from Hogan Medlin, Cameron Rosenow, David Hall, and Will Thompson.

  • Glad I ran into these vids, thanks to "The Sing Off". Much better than those Beezlebub guys, but they're good too i guess. The chorus seems a little rushed but overall great and better the Bubs version of this song. Was disappointed that the song ended early, what happened to the rest of the song???

  • It's just their own particular arrangement of the song - this was used as the encore for their huge Spring Concert last April, so maybe they just wanted a slightly shorter version since they were already tired from a full concert. Yeah, the Bubs are great friends of the Clefs and the Clefs were recruited to do the "Sing Off", but it required time away from school and jobs that they just couldn't afford.

  • "I'm a part of these streets, just like Anoop Desai." -made my day! (I've been having withdrawal, methinks)

Jeez, only the Clefs make me listen to songs I would never really listen to! And I lol'd when I read "Steve-Pain." Clever, clefhangerfan. XD

  • Listen closely in Put On/Got Money at 3:00, you'll hear it....

  • lol!!!! (yes, with multiple exclamation points) I never noticed it before. I always thought he said "tis T-Pain" or something like that.

Now I'm wondering if all Clef boys have a secret rap name or something.

  • There are a few others..... I may have this wrong, but in at least one rap I think they refer to Ryan White as 'Young Wheezy" instead of Young Jeezy??? - maybe Put On/Got Money at the same point? OK, I'm rap-illiterate maybe, but there are others...
