"Jesus Ate Babies" - Campaign Ad (AP Gov. Class)

Another video project for my high school AP Government class. We were given the assignment to make a (preferably satirical) campaign ad for election season. We chose to embrace the phony, vague, picture-perfect nature of most political ads and also give a humorous portrait of the average, corrupt politician.

The admittedly distasteful line: "Jesus ate babies all the time when he was president. . .or maybe that was Satan" is a moronic reference to the popular [Adult Swim] show, "Squidbillies." We wanted a ridiculously long title for our party, partially inspired by the "Rent is Too Damn High" party.

Also, the whole "combining schools with casinos" bit is a jab at the Oklahoma Lottery, which is supposed to help funding for education, so that our students can go to school, then grow up and gamble themselves into debt. Think of the children.
