Actually, Rock Band was made by the people who invented Guitar Hero. Then the franchise got sold off, and Harmonix (the inventors of GH) made Rock Band. Then activision used the GH name and ripped off rock band. So GH, GH2 and RB are the real originals.

there was no RHCP in the game, or flyleaf... OR DEF LEOPARD
but, the game wasn't out yet, and the majority of gamers had no clue about it

The thing that is disturbing with this review is that you used a lot of Rock Band media. Next time I would specify that you are showing things from RB or whatever game.
I know this is unofficial and you don't have pictures, but don't show the guitar, mic, drums, custom art, and gameplay screens as GH:WT visuals, people will be confused.

I had to use the rock band images because that was all that was available. I only used it as a comparison, since the only images for GH:WT were out of GameInformer's May 2008 Issue. I was kind of stuck with what I had. But go watch the official review instead. Its up to date on everything!
