i loved the quote you used at the very beginning. if he's lucky. He is and she is in a way, but at the same time it is now in context almost such a dark quote because like all things with the doctor, luck eventually runs out, and no one pays for it more dearly than his companions. donna was brilliant and they really needed each other. she helped him and was just an amazing friend, and he let her be brilliant like she always was but could never see. 5/5 and subscribed, it was gorgeous!

That was brillant! I really enjoyed this. I really loved Donna in her own right. She's really wonderful, and Catherine Tate is a superb and talented actor like David Tennant.

Absolutely beautiful! You made me cry!!!! I miss this Doctor & Donna so much - I can't watch Matt Smith's (not because of him, it's mainly due to River Song - I can't stand all the romance crap!). The thing I love about DT's Doctor & Donna was the friendship - they got to the stage where they could hug & hold hands knowing that they could trust the other not to make something more out of it, & certainly they both seemed to enjoy it!! :) Definitely the most beautiful relationship in new Dr Who!

@Shanoply Is she a lady of time? I think her full name is another of Davies' inside jokes. Donna Temple Noble—If you take the Latin roots of these words it works out like this: Donna, a female term of respect, equivalent to "Lady." The root of "Temple" in Latin is "Tempus," "Time." The root of "Noble" is a male term of respect, equivalent to "Lord." Donna Temple Noble" = Lady Time Lord.

I don't get all the obsession with Rose ... Donna will ALWAYS be my favourite! :)

I really LOVED how, with her, they had this big mysterious storyline going throughout the show, but not quite as obvious as the fifth series with the whole "crack" thing, it was more subtle, but there were so many things leading up to the whole DoctorDonna thing! .... they were best friends! It was so sad when her character died, I wept like a child! :(
