@CommanderC00L558 Yeah, they've gone to China and done lots of their stuff with their MARCHING BAND but our program isn't competitive with our marching band. We focus on our band, orchestra, and jazz band which are damn good and are renown for its ability to perform top music and make it sound good. If we could afford to go to China or go to massive competitions, we would go and do very well. We have won at competitions within those aspects but our marching band is not the main focus of the IMD.

@larapuntar So that's why your band has been invited to China to play for the Olympics? Or for the president/vice president? Or has competed in BOA?

@CommanderC00L558 Yes, I have heard them (seeing how I was part of the band for my four years there) and though they have a loud sound, the music is simple and they blast their sound which means that its not always in tune. We're loud in our own right while remaining in tune and playing/marching more difficult drills while (mainly Shaw) stand in one spot and just blast simple music.

@larapuntar Ever you ever heard Euclid, or Shaw? They are far smaller than Heights yet their sound is BOOMING.

@CommanderC00L558 If you think our sound was poor than you need to hear from the bands who come to our games. They're like twice the size of us and have half our sound or less (while playing less complicated music). So listen to the groups we play before judging, kays?

@CommanderC00L558 oh come on you dont know how much work was put into this. the director at this school doesnt do his job...the students have to fend pretty much for themselves.
