Informational Speech on Marijuana - The truth about Pot (pro-pot)

This is an informative speech that i gave for my speech class in college. The goal was to inform the crowd on a subject. I chose Marijuana. Many people in America don't really know anything about the subject, and since I couldn't ever get a straight answer from anyone, I decided to research for myself. I found tons of scientific research and studies that have been conducted. This is a shortened version of the speech, it was supposed to only be 5 minutes. Why would I post a video of a speech full of false information? I did hours of research to compile this speech. Maybe you need to get your facts straight, because I've seen my deal of shit bro. Who do you think funded the anti-pot commercials? Government funded programs. And the Gov. is still arresting people for selling it in the states it's legal in, because those states are legal due to the STATE LAWS. FEDERAL LAWS (aka the government) still prohibit it. Troll somewhere else.

The reason i disliked it is because he stated a shit load of false information about weed. Im a pot head lol but i know the declaration of independence was not written on hemp it was written on parchment which is dried animal. btw he keeps saying "the government doesn't want you to know"...If the government legalized it in numerous states, they're not keeping any secrets about it from the public. Im pro weed but get your facts strait boy

@lotaryguy12 I have not tried it. But i have watched many people that have and they act stupid and the more they smoke the worse it gets. And so it may relax you, but that's why there are other forms of relaxation.

@KaraKari1 I suppose you're one of the majority that has tried smoking it but never actually experienced the effect?

It only takes effect after a few tries, at first your body creates anti-bodies for the THC most of the time so you don't actually get high on the 1st 1-4 times.

@KaraKari1 It does kill brain cells but at a smaller quantity than alcohol does. You're killing over 200 brain cells just by reading this comment, but that's ok cus in the meantime you're generating 1200 more.

It was called a "gateway drug" as an excuse to make it illegal. Those who go for heavy drugs sometimes start with marijuana, however, if marijuana didn't exist they would start with tobacco/alcohol or go directly to those drugs. The problem is the person who is dumb enough to go for them.

It does not rot your brain, but it does kill brain cells. It does not kill instantly, but can kill you if you smoke your body weight in a certain amount of time-though very hard to do. And, no, it cannot cause a physical addiction, but people who are incompetent, can believe they are based on the feelings that it gives them. Also, it is called the "gateway drug" because some who try it give themselves the right to try harder stuff thinking it will be better not be addicting, or just curious.
