Please note comment several lines below - while this short WAS shown in the movie theaters with the original movie, it was included on the Laser Disc version ONLY. When I was converting Laser Disc content to DVD (that was not available commercially) I did the conversion and figured, since Disney DID not make it available AT ALL, they are not losing any money by it being posted on YouTube.

Neither. It is because it is NOT available on DVD or Blu Ray that I felt it was ok to post it on YouTube. (I took it from a Laser Disc).

Another one not often found is the multi-language version of the Circle of Life from the Lion King. (The multi-language version of Hakunah Matata is on the 2disk version of Lion King, but the multi-language version of the Circle of Life is missing?)

Do You Notice The Irony Of This Cartoon?

The Old Fashioned Toy being the rocking horse is designed in CGI, the New Fashioned Animation.

I miss uncle Walt, it was never the same after he left, and it's not likely to be again. Art has been replaced by greed. So goes the downfall of culture. Thanks for posting.

Great short this is. I first saw this on a plane to Norway. Didn't know it was made 4 years ago (or more?).

This was probably an inspiration for Toy Story (toy desperate for attention from the kid.)

They are just being idiots, more of the most reasent Disney shorts, are more missery than the shorts from 1920's, 1930's, 1940's 1950's.

Because Disney is more shamed about there modern animated shorts than the classic ones appart from those Mickey Mouse shorts from 1983, 1990, 1995 and the Goofy short 2007.

Disney have lot rarely seen shorts made post 1962. From 1928 to 1962 they have released every short one from another on DvD but post 1962 its just handfuls and I do belive they could do one 2-disc set at least or 3 disc sets.
