I retract that-- saw the whole vid. Looks like cop was considering an arrest but hadn't made up his mind yet, while he was doing crowd control and fielding political spin from a pesky reporter. Still can't say I blame him. What a cruddy job.

the police are completely out of control in the U.S.! This officer should be charged with false arrest; false impriaonment; first degree assault and battery and the ABC affiliate should file a civil lawsuit against the officer and the department and launch an investigation into the P.D.'s training policies pertsaining to ARRESTING A MEMBER OF THE PRESS!!!! out of control! it is time WE THE PEOPLE take back our streets and communities and start our own Arab Spring!
