The Mens Basketball Competition has reached the Medal Round of 8 and Team China will face off with Team Lithuania with Lithuania a 10-point favorite. The stakes are higher in the medal round as you must win to advance and a loss means your Olympic tournament is over. Lithuania was the winner of group A play with a 4-1 record and didn't exert much in their final game losing big to Australia with nothing to play for. Lithuania has plenty of depth as the team uses much of it's roster. The one thing I have seen from China is that they start fast and fade in games due to fatigue. When China hits their three's they can compete with the top teams in the World but if they aren't falling it's an uphill battle. China is only shooting 42% from the field in the Olympic Games. Linas Kleiza is hitting on 54% of his shots and Team Lithuania 4 players shooting 47% or higher from the three point line. Lithuania will continue to move the ball and shoot well against the slower footed China guards here. Yao Ming wont be a factor against this hot shooting team. Take Lithuania --10.

USA has already been beaten by lithuania. and we only have 3.5 mil population, so you have to give credit for having such a strong team like ours in such a small country. and yet we still chalange some of the worlds best teams. sorry , but i don't think that we or other team can't knock usa down. yes, you will be champions again, but ask who is in your side, we have more fans when we lose when you win :D sorry, but that thing i saw in my own eyes. :) and i think that usa days soon will be over in olimpycs, cos we have spirits and that will help to be best for all time. and you, usa shows only techique side, but game is not all about this, someday you will get it. :) good luck..

srry bro but tht aint happenin i respect the euroleague, it has decent fans and otha stuff like tht but it doesnt even come close to the nba, tht where the fans r and players want to be, not some jv league, also lithunaina has a great team and i would pull for them to win when they dont play usa. but there is no way they our any other country will knock of usa, especially not lithuania. usa>>>>world
