NY Proposes Salt Ban

Bill would ban NY restaurants from using salt during food preparation
The proposal, penned by Brooklyn Assemblyman Felix Ortiz, would make illegal using salt, in any form, in the preparation of any food for consumption by customers of such restaurant, including food prepared to be consumed on the premises of such restaurant or off of such premises, the bill states.

My message to his office:
A ban on salt is one of the craziest things that I've ever heard. Also, I believe that you and anyone, who would vote for this bill, are completely insane. You belong in a mental institution not a state legislature.

While I dont add any salt in my cooking & the only thing I use salt is occasionally on fresh corn on the cob or popcorn,its NONE of the governments business what foods we buy,eat or fix in our home kitchen or restaraunts.
