US Marine Corps Carrier Qualifications in Simulation

An aviator qualifies on 6 airframes during the span of a decade. It all takes place near the US Navy base at Pearl Harbor. As the types of aircraft he flies get more advanced, signs of the times become apparent, such as the quality of film used to shoot the movie.

The planes flown in this simulation for the video were:
F2A-2 Buffalo
F4F-3 Wildcat
F6F-3 Hellcat
F4U-1D Corsair
SBD-5 Dauntless
F9F-5 Panther

This video was shot on a heavily modified install of Il-2 Sturmovik 1946.

is there some way you can get an modern aircraft carrier for jet navy planes?

i got jet era mod and when i want to launch, i need the carrier at max speed or i fall into water ): i need a modern carrier mod or something to do this good

@SeverEnergia I'm probably late as you've probably found the answer already, but I would like to tell you that you can. I have the steam version, and I can mod it. The way to do it is to patch it and then install the sas modding package the exact same as you would without the steam version, except from you need to install it at Steam's IL2 directory (Steamapps > common > IL2 Sturmovik 1946) Hope that helps!

The game costs only about 20 bucks for the complete edition and around 10 for any of the single installations.
