Todays topic is The Half smile, a distress tolerance skill taught in DBT, aka Dialectical Behavior Therapy. There is Scientific evidence behind it! I KID YOU NOT! Its easy! Just turn your mouth up just slightly. Yes it feels totally fake I KNOW! You probably dont want to sile if you are sad or angry etc. BUT It has proven to have a positive effect on your body's chemicals and neurotransmitters! Have you half smiled Today?
