Did this one year ago ... thought it really sounded cool, and since I haven't done anything with this ... I thought I might take whatever I find to make a video of it ... So I took a HD MGS4 Trailer.
About the recording now !
The bass is a Harley Benton HBP-120 (extreme cheap) and the strings were a few month old ... The guitar is a Gibson SG Standard (Gibson ... not Epiphone dudes ... capice ?) For "real" drums sound I used (as usual) Toontrack EZDrummer, and for Beatbox, Steinberg Groove Agent. Synth sound are Steinberg Embracer and Ohmforce Melohman. The instruments were recorded through a Line6 Toneport UX2 using the amp simulations, and straight to Cubase SX3. The PC was kinda old btw...
So the only "expensive" thing here is the Gibson SG (1200€). All the other things barely reach a price a little higher than half of the price of the SG

@Bulby93 well i could never replicate the keyboard's sound in manson's music, they're always pretty unique
then i used a really cheapass bass. my biggest concern is that the guitars sound so "thin"
