Vagebont - Tobiano KWPN Stallion

A KWPN (Register A) stallion, graded with ECHA, Vagebont has made a promising start to his career, qualifying for both CHAPS and BSPA championships two years in a row. Showing an exciting aptitude for eventing, he will shortly be out and about on the circuit. In 2009 he also graded with the German studbook ZFDP.

Vagebont combines some of the finest coloured bloodlines available in Holland. He is a grandson of the famous Samber, who needs no introduction. His sire is Mecenas, a fabulous Polish Warmblood with almost pure Trakehner and Anglo Arab lines. Mecenas was approved for breeding with the NRPS in Holland, and was a successful advanced dressage horse. Sadly Mecenas died early reducing the number of stock he had on the ground, but he left many elegant, big moving, athletic offspring in Holland and all over the world. Vagebonts dam Lista, is a proven broodmare who is the dam of a ster mare in her own right. Her dam was by the prolific Afrikaner xx, whose blood is found in many successful dressage and jumping horses.

Vagebont has correct, expressive paces, is athletic and scopey over fences and has an unquestionable temperament.
