@afroman920 It's not shoot the fuck out of everything, especially on the higher difficulties. The series is awesome, but play them in release order (you can ignore Metal Gear for the NES and MSX, though).

Out of mgs 1-4, mgs2 had the worst boss fights. That is not to say they were bad but they were the worst in the franchise.
