hy everybody, i have a 156 2 litre twin spark and it did the same noise at startup. i changed the belts and the variator amd i've cleaned the engine inside with forte product. now the sound is gone and i'ts running much more smoother. maybe this will help ya. bye

I think it is because the engine need more lubrication. Maybe more oil or better qualifyed

As the topic says, the problems is a loose cambelt. Noise disappeared after tensioner re-adjustment!
