A classic instance of the road team stealing the one game on the road they needed to in a series.

Long time Wings fan here, and this is the game that made me believe the Wings would win this series. The Avs had home ice advantage, and the Wings had already lost game 1. Then they went down 2-0 early in this game, and Wings fans everywhere, myself included, were shaking their heads thinking, "Well, here's where we roll over and die, typical Wings...." But then, finally, the Wings showed some heart and battled back. Yzerman's end-to-end game-winning goal was beautiful.

Everyone talks about the March 26 Brawl, but THIS is the game where the Red Wings truly turned the tide and changed franchise history forever.
Yzerman was great, a goal and assist in the decisive third period.

I forgot about that stupid fuckin' crease rule, what a bust that was lol. One of Steve's best goals, now everyone tries to do that - bank it off the goalie.
