or I could do fencing and have an electrical system tell me that I'm getting points rather than relying on an inaccurate honor system. ever played a team version of fencing? Like a team vs another team where electrical systems are used. no you haven't so you can't say shit.

  • @AwakeTooLong1 hence the "Creative" in "Society for Creative Anachronism".

It'll never be completely accurate....otherwise it wouldn't be in any fun. Such criticisms are nothing new.

  • @NinjaSushi2 like I said, the standing fighter was hit in the knee. In the SCA knees, shins and feet are not legal targets.

  • good vid keep it and never back down. as for the nah sayers well screw em. if they want to run out and get themselves killed but "playing" with a real sword and no training then let em. I enjoy sca heavy combat and will never give it up unless if i have been forced to by a doctor.

  • metal bashing agains't metal.. gay.. honor system.. gay.. gay..

  • @AwakeTooLong1 Lol... They are acting as if they had lsot their legs...

  • I'm a bit disappointed to see a society devoted to medieval recreation fighting from their knees. If you cannot stand on your leg you are very unlikely to be able to do more than roll around and flail. Worse, there's a good chance you've shattered bone, severed arteries etc. Forensic evidence at medieval battlefields indicate leg wounds typically resulted in fatality.

  • these guys sure get legged a lot...
