June 17, 2010 Holland, Minnesota Wedge Tornado

Intercepted numerous tornadoes this day. This video, taken just north of Albert Lea near Holland shows multiple tornadoes on the ground at the same time, followed by a strong wedge tornado.

1:38 - "This looks like a scene from Twister or something..." He was pretty near the business, if you've ever read the original screenplay.

"Jo is driving at eighty miles per hour toward a black sky and a blacker tornado, which has an ugly greenish-purple tinge." (p. 94)

This is very close to what I can imagine from the discription in the book. Also, around 1:40, the tornado simply seems to have the same mood as the tornado from Hailstorm Hill - as it reaches the road.

@stylzns04 A wedge tornado is litterally as it sounds, describing the shape of a tornado. Tornadoes can take on all sorts of shapes and sizes throughout its lifespan. But don't be fooled, a wedge tornado is not necessarily stronger than a non wedge shaped tornado.
