Alex Epstein, Fellow at the Ayn Rand Institute gives a lecture on the virtues of Oil and its benefit to society.

Most Americans today have no idea how much value oil adds to their lives. Oil has sustained and enhanced billions of lives for more than 150 years by providing superior, affordable, ultra-convenient energy. And, contrary to environmentalist claims, it is as vital today as ever.

In his lecture "In Defense of Oil," Alex Epstein, a commentator on oil issues, will make the case that America's reliance on oil is a good thing. Following the lecture, Mr. Epstein will answer questions on issues related to oil, from energy independence to climate change to renewable energy.
