So, why can't the lock be picked? Yours looks (to me) kind of similar to the lock this guy easily picked as in the "RosinDubh37713" youtube lockpicking videos?
Just want to know what makes your locking part more secure, if it is.

Looks good. But I think the lock that has the bar over the dashboard is even stronger.

Just get an nrg steering wheel w/ a nrg quick release hub and secure it w/ an nrg hub lock and you're straight. haha.

A removable steering wheel is good for some cars however many cars today have air bags and other circuitry in the steering wheel that will not work if you remove the steering wheel. Our steering wheel lock is designed to work with OEM steering wheels

Most of the standard bar locks can be defeated not by attacking the lock but by attacking the steering wheel. The rim of the steering wheel is made out of plastic. It is much easier to cut the plastic section of the steering wheel that secures the lock then remove the lock. However if the entire steering wheel is covered with metal you cannot easily remove the lock. Plus there is a 2nd line of protection that goes to the brake pedal. Basically 2 locks and a steel to steel connection
