The Monks of Mt. Athos - 1 of 7

The original film was made in 1977 by John Keshishoglou: Mt. Athos: The First One Thousand Years. This is when the monastic community finally broke with the tradition of disallowing video journalists. Goes to show how far gone things really are, a sad sign of the times.

I show this video to illustrate some of the New-Rite innovations. The Old Believers acknowledge that their practice of Faith came from the good Christian Greeks, so it is possible to see some hints of the roots where Russia accepted its Christianity. For the Old Believers who are strong in their ways we can learn that Mt. Athos was under the control of the satanic Frankish Freemason Crusaders in the 13th century. After the downfall of Constantinople in the 15th century all that remained in the Greek union entered into the Great Apostasy we see all around us today.
