With My Guns Blazing - Weston James

This video is from 2010 Tunesmith Songwriter's Event held in Nashville, TN 25-27 February 2010. The event was actually a songwriting competition where the winning song would be recorded and used in an upcoming album project by Country Music recording Artist Andy Griggs. The theme we were to write to was "Running and Gunning to the very end in a Southern Rock style. We had a day and a half to complete the challenge.I teamed up with fellow songwriters, Neil Cotton (Ontario, CAN ) and Rich Pirone (US , PA ) who had flown in for the event and this is my performance of the song we wrote for the contest. We didn't win, but we met some new friends, met both Andy Griggs, and Jimmie Van Zandt, and other music industry notables. Let us know what you think!
