Much more water were poured into the bowl when he stood in the middle. I don't know if he manipulated the flow to go anti clockwise but it looked as if it was manipulation to confuse Ewan and Charley and us. I am not a believer, sorry about that.

This might have been done in good intentions, but the coriolis effect is much weaker than if you pour the water into bowl to give it the rotation you want.

I hope you know that hurricanes and water swirling are supposed to be opposite.

they are not. they are supposed to show the same idea, which is conservation of angular momentum of a fluid speeding up as it "drains" into the center. In a hurricane, it's draining upwards of warm air. this water swirling is just draining inward due to gravity.
