I agree matlab doesn't have built rich control-in as compared to VB, it is mainly meant for algo development. Haven't said that you can always explore things with Matlab.

So you are planning for rich UI then go for VB or other tools,but you can develop algorithm in matlab and integrate it with VB/Dotnet//Java etc..

hii.. this video was really useful.. could u please upload a video for dispaying the string or numbers in a new edit text button rather than in a new window like how the tutorial says tat when u click on ClickMe.. push button, the value is displayed.. Thanks..

thank you a lot :) Today I started work on GUI and I view a lot of papers about GUI and matlab. I read a thesis of someone about GUI but I could understand only how I can open and close GUI window and know some buttons. Then I saw some demos on mathworks. They didnt work at all. But after I watched your video, I completely understand about functioning of callbacks :)

could have been much better... may not be helpful for native English speakers. I recommend watch Matlab videos... they are professional upoads and quite informative.

Matlab is quite confusing for me to make a gui application, so i use visual basic.
