If you really were an animal lover and do something about it, instead of carring on filming. After the ban was put in place, (about 6 or 7 years later), Tony Blair said it had saved no more foxes and was a mistake.

Also you have to flush to a bird of prey, and when one of them catches the fox, it would take hours to die in the wild. It is much quicker and humaine to die by being killed by a hound instead of a bird of prey.

Similarly, there is no evidence to suggest that fox numbers need controlling. In fact, they are limited by natural carrying capacities.

@940kenneth The Fox hunting brigade(Not all membersof thegun lobby are into this,by the way:-)say these things possibly because they want to maintain the statues quo,of traditions,that have existed for centuries.I personally have never hunted with houndswhere they have been used for the kill&I never will,as its quite barbaric from my perspective.But this is only my opinion on it.However many pest controllers have said the opposite&have said hollow-point bullets are ideal for foxes like the .223.

The future of hunting with dogs in the UK depends on the hunting lobby generating public support. (That’s why hunters don’t like anyone watching too closely or finding out about all the hideous crap that really goes on.) The hunt lobby will have to create the impression that they are decent and law-abiding people. This video (along with numerous others) should help to ensure that such an impression is never received. Shooting foxes is called pest-control&there are strict laws regulating it&licenses are required for this activity.A hobby it is not,more like an occupation.There are better things to shoot,like deer for venison,rabbits for their meat,Pheasants,wildfowl,etc than Foxes.Oh and Foxes are a pest that needs alot of control too.Tell that to the farmer who has his livestock eaten by them or his property damaged.Also if your feeling adventurous,go out into the American wilderness,unarmed&see some Cayotes
