@FbiMostRandom its not any more adult than most shonen mangas out there, which i call kid mangas (teen mangas) thats what shonen is. slight fan service and violence are a staple for most tween/teen animes.

And the pokemon anime is only good when it focuses on new themes/plots. pokemon is mostly about the same filler plot points being used again and again.

@FbiMostRandom you said to atlas that there were coding limitations at the time, which was the point i was making to atlas, that the reason many of the anime features left out from yellow was left out, was because of the recoding of the game that would be required. more than you can expect from a pokemon 1.5 game.

atlas said that only the manga is true to the games, which is utter bullcrap. the anime is closer to the games, not only how the games play, but the personality of the npc's too.

@behemuth The manga is NOT kid friendly (death, gore, violence, sexual references). Also, I never said I hate the anime. I'm just pointing out where it does not correlate with what Satoshi Tajiri wanted Pokemon to really be. I LOVED the Pokemon anime up until about the middle of the Johto series. After that, it was a little disappointing.

@behemuth I never said that the lack of Brock and Misty was due to engine limitations, I said the parts in the manga were what Satoshi wanted in the games, but couldn't do. Yellow version was made simply for marketing reasons (a lot of kids liked the anime, so they added SOME elements from the anime to Yellow, such as Jesse, James, Meowth, and the Pikachu that follows you, but other than that follows the original storyline of Red/Green).

@FbiMostRandom god... another "omg pokeymanz manga und gaems are asum! haet anime like everyone else" kind of guy huh`? saw your response to the moron atlas so... even though you agree with me there that it was due to engine limitations... yet when you respond to me, you go on about the game not having the gym leaders walk around with you... like you agreed with him (me) it was due to limitations. yellow tried to be the anime in the games. period. pokemon was always kid frendly, even the manga.
