yes you can put any samples on it you like. if they are not looped then they will be classed as 'single shot' & i guess there has to be a limit to the length of time for a loop though i havn't needed to reach it yet, all my samples fit in fine as loops wether fast or slow tempo

so if i wanna save a longer voice sample or an explosion or something is that possible?

It can store upto 99 samples on a memory card and can hold 4 samples in the a,b,c & d pads at any one time but you can over-sample too meaning you can play upto 3 samples & save them as 1 seperate sample. The samples are not time based, they are beat based so any loop or pattern will fit providing it's not too long.
