They supported the war because they trusted what the Bush people was selling them. Remember this was right after 911 and everyone was scared. I to remember watching tv and being sold on the war. That being said Obama came out against it. Ok 3 things bush did good? The war in afghanistan. The bank bill were minority could get easy loans. And cutting the military to make it leaner and meaner. 3 bad things on Obama? Not closing Gitmo. The Drone program. And Immigration reform.

Cornell, Democrats overwhemling supported the Iraq war unitl it became a liability then they jumped shipped and was able to hang it all on Bush, just like the right is successfulling hanging 16.4 trillion on Obama. Both of those claims are myths. Help me out Cornell, put my theory to the test.... cause I don't think you will name 3 things good Bush did and 3 Bad things Obama did. Obama helped stabilize our economy and that was good.. ball is in your court boo boo... 1 good thing about Bush?

How wisely did each spend the money? Lets see...Iraq war was wrong on all accounts. 5,000 troops dead and over 50,000 wonded for life. Obama? Killed more middle east bad guys then Bush did in 8 years with hardly no soilders death. I can go on but dont have the room. Of course I see faults in Obama. POTUS are not perfect. But this notion that when a conservative is in office the government is cut, and the debt goes down is a myth. The fact a majority of the right thinks that is insane.

You know what? Your right and wrong all at once. Your right 16.4 trillion is not all on Obama, your right things were bad when Obama took office. Obama did have to spend some money to help stablize the economy, just like Bush had to spend some money to deal Al qaeda after 911. The question is how wisely did each spend that money to deal with crisis they faced? You can see faults of Bush, but can you see the faults of Obama? Sure...looks presidents are not perfect. All potus have done some good while in office. My point is the right makes it seem like everything was going great then Obama came in and poof! We have a 16 trillion debt! lol When Bush was in office he added billions to the debt, started a government program without paying for it and I didnt hear or see protest from the tea party. lol In fact all the GOP complaing about his spending are the same group that back bush spending and ask for government money.
