I grew up in a hymn singing church. This was one of my fav. But tho Jesus was on my tongue He was not in my heart. I did not receive that supernatural, miracle heart operation (Ezek 36.26; 2 Cor 5.17) until I was 31. What a difference!!! Formerly I was like Nicodemus of Jn 3 -- religious but did not have God's Spirit inside.

Definitely one of my favorites. Brings a lump to my throat when we sing it at Mass. Too bad you couldn't get a choir to sing to this wonderful organ accompaniment. Thanks for posting it.

Ignorance is bliss I guess...FYI, Science is achieved by awareness and knowledge practiced by highly intelligent beings...Science is not a living thing and therefor cannot think for itself...Maybe you should spend more time doing research on the bible instead of mocking the very thing you have zero knowledge of.
