i did it with 2 parallel 8 ohm coils... thats 4 ohms... xD and i found laying arround a neyodium magnet... all i need is stronger materials to hold that shit xD

i use to work at the prison and imates would make these from there head phone magnets and paper. they wernt near as big, about 4 inch speakers. sounded alright for there cells..

@ethanstephenson yes :) even the most basic hand-made conventional loudspeaker is good enough for recognizing speech, music, etc. :)

nice but how big is the magnet? i can't even see a freaking magnet on that thing! is it like a nano meter across or something?? WHERE THE HECK IS IT!!!!

@realflow100 at the very first picture of the video, is the naked basket of the speaker without the cone and the surround. at the center of the basket you can see a black cylinder. that's the magnet. it's actually two stacked magnets.
