@jakeblack1982 That's the way it goes with all over the road trucking companies. It's a different lifestyle than "home every night in my nice warm bed" lifestyle. It's not all bad. But, at the same time, It's not all good.It sure beats one of Obama's "shovel ready" jobs.

In the case of this video, Prime bought a huge batch of pre emission tractors to take advantage of a lower price. They saved a bundle. As far as the freight "drying up" It is total B.S. The only reason freight would dry up would be because a driver refused freight. I rarely sat for more than 2 hours after empty. I've never worked as hard in my life. And four months after leaving, Prime sent me a check for detention time at a shipper that had never requested payment for.Prime was honest and fair
