@lanegwyn It means "Since I think this is a reference to The Legend of Zelda, I think it's brilliant because I'm a dumbass!" :) Could be a reference, there are some of Merritt's songs that seem akin to other games (aka Smash the Beauty Machine is somewhat Sonic the Hedgehog-esque, and The Lonely Goat from The Gothic Archies sounds disturbingly like a song from Golden Axe (Arcade/Genesis). - But I have not read that Merritt is inspired by such sources specifically.
