Preserving Biodiversity with the Public

Our challenge is to communicate the message of biodiversity loss to non-biologist!

The real issue of our time is the biodiversity crisis - the extinction of species and the degradation of habitats. The term HIPPO (habitat loss, invasive species, population pressure, pollution, over harvesting) is useful and imperative to understand because it stands for the causes of biodiversity loss. Since climate change exacerbates habitat degradation along with many other issues, the biodiversity of the planet must be saved.
