This is the result of my first attempt to make a steam engine from scratch. The base was the second casting I've done, the rest of the parts were made from scrap I had around. The only purchased parts are needle valve, copper tube and fittings, and a few bolts. Fun to build and only cost $10 bucks or so.

    Built an ocilating steam engine w/3/8" bore works pretty OK. Your engine sounds good.
