Installed my Kartboy Short Shifter with front + rear shifter bushings and Rally Armor Mud Flaps on my 2011 Subaru WRX. I'm very happy with both of these small mods. Sorry for my lack of enthusiasm in the video I wasn't feeling too well when I made it. I hope to get a downpipe and go stage 2 sometime in June/July and I'll go from there. The song is Celebrity by Lloyd Banks.

Enjoy. =)

  • do you know if this short throw shifter will work on the impreza 2.5i?? NOT the WRX or STI

  • @199VOLTRON

    I don't know, man. Check kartboy's website to see if they have anything for your specific model.

  • hey man, just wondering how big a difference the bushings made, i ordered and had installed the SPT SS from subaru themselves but it didnt come with the bushings, the throws are MUCH shorter but it still feels very rough while shifting same as it did with the stock shifter, just wondering if you felt the same thing and if the bushings actually makes shifting much smoother?

  • @JMAHER1523

    My brother actually has the SPT SS in his car and I have the Kartboy in mine. I honestly believe that it's only like a 10-15% shorter throws than the stock shifter while my Kartboy is about 40% shorter. The bushings definitely make a difference but I can't tell you what it will feel like because my brother also has the stock bushings. For an extra 65 bucks, I would say that it's worth it.

  • @TurboTweet I HIGHLY recommend getting an open source tune. Much more freedom and theres alot more tuning solutions out there. I myself use torqued performance, its well known for putting cobbs or perrins ots maps to shame and both smoothness and power.

  • @arexate06 very true

    After some more research, I decided that you are right. An intake will do more harm than good at this point.

  • @TurboTweet there's really no need to get a intake unless your over 350hp, the stock box is really good. save money for something else imo.

  • got mine in today and didnt want to stop driving when i got to work, went around the block a few more times lol. Def a must do!

  • @TurboTweet

    Same here. After a downpipe and maybe an intake, I'll probably save for some small interior/exterior mods just so I don't get power hungry haha. Eventually, I'll get an exhaust (I hope) but that will be much later on.
