  • Biosig is based on Charles' compiled data, over 25 years worth, of client blood tests, progress reports, and the like.

Bio Sig and "scientific spot reduction" is, therefore, only in the grassroots stages. As a result, I doubt there are any "published studied"; nor is there academic research which has been published, thus far.

With that said, there are clients (and decades worth of data collected at Poliquin Performance Centers) which speak to the programs efficacy.

  • Good vid bro but cortisol wont make you run faster, your thinking of adrenaline.

  • i dont listen to anyones advise on fitness thats on steroids...

  • That dude is fricken jakked man! Awesome vid!

  • @billysue2 Whatever the physiological reasons are, biosig works.

Unfortunately, the studies required need funding, and since the results would not be marketable by drug companies or directly useful to many other nonprofits, I can see the required funding being very difficult to procure, especially considering how many variables there are to test, which would have to be done in many different experiments.

  • @TRAPRJ14 data does indeed lie,it has to be interpreted and may be done incorrectly. Also his data shows a relationship between 2 variables not causation.

  • @slizzardman case studies arent proof, but better than none .The problem is there isnt even a physioligical basis for a large amount of biosig theory. Those things could easily be proven if true.

  • @billysue2 Each individual case study, alone, is weak. Having tens of thousands that all show similar results is a very, VERY strong point. It does not show causation, but it does show a very powerful and statistically significant correlation between what Poliquin prescribes and client results.

You aren't specific enough. Only EMPIRICAL (laboratory) studies are performed as you said. Observations and case studies are both considered scientific, just not causal.

  • @annel69 I confront myself? I hope you are an ESL individual. You sir have missed my point entirely.

I have read most of Charles' articles. I can only imagine you pick up on very few principles considering your response.

Academic research, peer reviews, and the like are done at Academic Institutions, not PPC. Published studies refers to peer-reviewed journals- i.e., Academic Journals. HOWEVER, as I said, his data does not lie; therefore, I do believe in the efficacy of almost all CP's work.

  • @TRAPRJ14

did you realize that you actually confront yourself?

and another question, have you ever read any CP's articles? take some time to do it first before publish no-sense like "I doubt there are any "published studied"; nor is there academic research which has been published, thus far"

    what are you talking about???

man, I would consider some good quality fish oil...will help no matter you "believe" it or not
