Previously- Joe was in a bad mood and depressed about all the fame and he was so caught up in himself that he forgot about his and Demis one year anniversary. Selena and Nick were hanging out and Selena saw that Nick got a text message from Alissa.

* That night. Joe hasnt come out of his room. He has called Demi non-stop and he realizes she turned off her phone. He leaves her numerous voicemails and texts. Selena feels bad for running out on Nick, but freaked out when she saw the text message. Nick and Kevin work on new music and Nick plans on calling Selena later on to explain. Demi shut her phone off and threw it against her wall, still crying hysterically. Both her parents are downstairs, not sure what to do. Selena goes over to Demis.*

Jen- oh hey Selena, (hears a loud crash and knows Demi threw a picture) probably not the best time to see Demi
S- how is she?
Jen- she wont let anybody inwe dont know what to do
S- do you know why they broke up?
Ryan- no, she wouldnt tell anyone.
S- would she talk to me?
Ryan- I doubt it, but you can tryyou know what let me go see if shes willing to talk to you first.
S- ok good idea

*Ryan goes upstairs and Selena and Jen sit in the living room, watching TV.*

Jen- you knowI really thought Joe and Demi were perfect for each otherI actually saw them getting married one day
S- they were perfect for each other, Ive never seen Joe happier in his life than when he was around her, and I would know since he is my twin.
Jen- its funny how they went from disliking each other to in love to now who knows where.
S- I remember the night after the first day of school and Joe was talking about her because she ran into his locker and we all knew that he finally found the one person who would make him happyalthough it took a few weeks before they themselves realized it
Jen- she ran into his locker?
S- yes, we have to get them back together Jen.
Jen- I know. Oh I know this is off topic but I know youre Demis best friend and I think of you as my second daughter, so I was wondering if you would like to be one of my bridesmaids in my wedding. I asked Demi to be the maid of honor and she said yes. Id really love if you were in it.
S- oh Jen, Id love too. Thanks so much! Thats so nice of you to ask me.
Jen- oh really? Youll do it?
S- of course, how could I say no?
* In Demis room.*

Ryan- Demi? Sweetheart can I come in?
D- just leave me alone
Ryan- (opens her door and sees Demi sitting on the floor against her bed, crying. He sees her phone across the room with the battery out and a picture of her and Joe smashed next to it.) ohbaby(hugs her and she just cries in his arms)
D- itsoverwerethrough
Ryan- Im sure you can fix it, I thought you loved him?
D- I loved himmore than anything
Ryan- then Im sure you guys will work things out
D- hes changed Dad, he forgot ourone year anniversary. Thats not like Joe. Hes too concerned about his image and his fame.
Ryan- hes human, he makes mistakes.
D- yes I know, but he didnt even want to hang out on our anniversary, he forgot about me.
Ryan- where was he?
D- he said he was busy and didnt explain. Im done with him.
Ryan- youre willing to just give up on love?
D- not every story has a happy ending.
Ryan- (gets up, not happy about what she said) well then maybe Joe changed, but so did you.
D- (mad) excuse me?
Ryan- Demi, Joe changed because he is having a hard time dealing with the instant fame and popularity, it changed you because now he wasnt paying attention to you and forgot something that was really important to your relationship, but that doesnt mean you cant work through it
D- (stands up) whos side are you on?
Ryan- yours and hisI know what its like Demi to lose the people you love the most, I lived it for the majority of my life. I dont want you to lose Joe over something stupid like fame and an anniversary.
D-stupid? So now Im stupid?
Ryan- ugh! Demetria I didnt say that! Stop being like this!
D- just because you were an idiot and made mistakes in your life doesnt mean Im going to make the same ones. Maybe Joe wasnt the one for me, ever think of that?
Ryan- no I didnt think of that and neither have you. I know I hurt you Demi when I left and I know you still havent forgiven me for it, but I know you Demi and I know you dont want to lose Joe. (leaves the room)
D- (cries harder and throws another pictures)
