Tabitha sounds like a tiger cub doll i had when I was a little girl. It made purring sounds just like that!

What a nice little kitty! And what a long happy life she lived! I had a very friendly cat, he was dark-gray with long hair, and he loved being picked up and he slept with me a lot.

Tabitha died from cancer in 2006.She was 15 and only had 3 legs.One of her front legs was amputated when she was 18 months old,following an accident.Despite this she ruled the house!!

Maybe you could get another cat with the same markings as her.

Thanks for the comment.This was filmed about 17 years ago.Sadly Tabitha died in 2006,however she had a very happy life.She loved people but hated other cats!
